Shipping rip-off

I purchased one 7 pound box of 1.5 mill bags that turned out to be shipped from Renton Washington to Redmond Washington and it should have been around $16 max for shipping. But instead I got charged $38 plus for shipping. Do not use this company for small purchases, you will pay double what you should.

Your order shipped from our Kent, Washington warehouse, and we understand your concerns about the shipping cost. Unfortunately, rates from carriers have increased significantly due to market conditions, and we do not control those rates. That said, we strive to minimize this impact for our customers whenever possible.

Our business model is built around bulk orders, which receive bulk pricing and include free shipping. In your case, although the order was small, we honored bulk pricing in an effort to help offset the shipping cost. We do continue to support smaller orders for our valued customers, but we always encourage taking advantage of our free shipping program on larger orders when feasible.

If ever you feel that a shipping charge seems high, please don’t hesitate to reach out before placing your order — we’re happy to work with you to explore lower-cost options. For local customers like yourself, we can also arrange for pickups directly from our warehouse to eliminate shipping charges altogether.
